@Brad I'm not sure if you read the issues on this thread carefully. The issue is not that there are two apps. The issue is that the Home app is a terrible experience, especially when comparing the the Nest app.The Home app is terrible at recognizing ...

I am also looking for answers to these issues as well. Home app is not nearly as good as the Nest one for those reasons.
