No traction as far as I am aware. I keep waiting and hoping for an
update to the app to avoid a factory reset but starting to lose hope.
Would be nice to hear from someone at Google on if the issue is being
worked on and estimated timeline on a fix.
I also tried your steps to create a new family group and I still receive
the error. This seems to be a widespread issue that started happening
this month. Please address with appropriate Google team and give us a
fix asap.
