To add, the unit is about seven years old so may be reaching the end of it's life.

Thank you JillGI have done a thorough cleaning of unit using compressed air and vacuuming all vents I've wiped the unit down. It's set for auto updates. It's still chirps once at the exact same time every day and sends a sensor failure error report. ...
