Coincidentally, I had a notification in the Home app promoting me to link myRoku account.

Use the Home app.Go into the Devices tab and select the option to add a device.When prompted, select "Partner Devices" .On the next screen search Roku , click the Roku icon to be directed to the account login and linking page.
