Okay but they didn't post anything and gave bad information on their
help site at first which is freaking people out. Everybody rebooted
their Chromecast which they're saying not to do. This can be undone but
the information isn't being disseminated ...
At least daily updates please! This is nuts. I can live without my
streaming services for a few days but I will pause them if this is going
to go on for a month. I don't have a smart TV I use Chromecast to go
from my phone to my TV. It's worked great...
Another person posting showed how to undo the factory reset that so many
of us did since Google help told us to. You go to your phone and
manually change the date back to the 8th. Then you can set up Chromecast
and that undoes the factory reset appar...
Glad to see an update today, but a lot of people aren't seeing it for
some reason. Also you REALLY should let people know there is a way to
undo the factory reset if they've done it as Google help recommended.

Max98 suggested to set your phone back to March 8th. Then set up
Chromecast. It won't work but it will undo the factory reset. Hope so. I
did it, wasn't hard. We're just going to have to wait until the Google
gods fix this for us.
