Is it really working for you on 3rd gen? Did you do factory reset as well before its working?

The one i mentioned in my post was actually 3rd gen so i guess all chromecast got impacted

I just hope Google will fix this issue ASAP.. or at least decent announcement if they want to kill old devices.
