I checked and there is no power to the capacitor, so it is probably not
charging. I moved to electronic with allows me to select a timed
electrical charge to the Capacitor. I thought that might charge the
capacitor. My chime does work now, but still ...
The Capacitor is suppose to augment the voltage to the Mechanical Chime.
I expect the Capacitor is not doing its job. One guy replaced the
capacitor and still did not correct the problem. I expect the capacitors
are to weak to actuate the striker
