Hopefully a reply here as soon as its fixed so people know when it's able to be used again. Most of us paying for subscriptions on apps we cannot use. So frustrating.

Just had the same issue. Couldn't cast to anything so did a factory reset. Got to the stage of connecting my device and said couldn't authenticate. Thought it was just my device till I've seen chromecast has been down since 6pm last night. Ridiculous...
