Reset your problem chromecast by setting your phone date back to march
8th and set chromecast back up then change your phone date back,
chromecast still wont work but its now ready to go. Heres my fix...

Great that everyone disgruntled has gotten the message through to google
and they are working to fix, heres hoping they will learn that they
can't mess with our gear and should at least broadcast a courtesy
message within the home app...woulda saved ...
