Finally sorted for me in the UK.This may help others.1 I did the routine
to get them back connected to Google by setting the date on my phone to
the 8th of March. Like around 99% of people I had already done a factory
reset before seeing Google's rat...
For a company that claims to care about the planet nudging people into
buying replacement products is hardly in line with that ethos. Come on
guys get your fingers out and sort this!!
The delay in resolving this issue is completely unacceptable. Three days
and counting is just not good enough for a billion dollar Tech company
like Google. Now seriously considering a migration to Amazon Fire stick
and Alexa home automation devices.
A bit late with the "do not reset" message. It's the first thing you try
when a device like this falls over and stops working so comprehensively.
I have two 2nd gen that no longer work but fortunately one 1st gen which
I can swap between TVs till you...
