Was reluctant to change the date but yes this did work! After the
successful process I reset to today's date. My Chromecast is operational
again. 拾 Android operating system on my phone.
Ok I've revisited this forum today after finding the notification in
spam. Before I'd come to the forum I'd already tried a hard reset that
did not re authenticate. I've since removed the Chromecast from my TV
will reinstall in a few days and hopeful...
I've been having trouble with my Chromecast the last few days. Today I'm
trying hard reset but it won't authenticate. Seems to be no work around
as have been going around in circles argh! Wondering after reading your
comment if it's a Google problem.
