Like I said, they have to fix it. In the home app it’s offline, but it
is connected as you can see on the screensaver when you turn it on. So
it can get the update bug fix when they start to roll it out.
Set the date in your phone back to 8th march manually, then go to the
google home app and look for a new device and select your chromecast and
follow the steps. It’s not working afterwards but it has WiFi connection
again and is on the home app, but ...
