Basically the equivalent of forgetting to renew your vehicle registration.Absolutely amateur mistake that unfortunately didn't have a simple fix because of how Google built out these systems.

This whole episode is embarrasing, both the fact that someone overlooked an expiring certificate (especially when services exist to prevent this very thing happening), and in how poorly it's been handled.I can't believe I only received an email today...
