My problem ended up being a problem with the ISP. Not the Google Router itself. I solved when I switched. Hopefully this works for everyone else as well. Thanks

I've been having this same issue since early Octobertwo months nowreally sucks to have this poor quality on something so expensiveI feel bad that I recommended this back in January to a friend. Hope they aren't experiencing this.
