Interesting. 2 of the 3 Chromecast Audio devices that I have here
updated when connected to WIFI. The third one refused to connect and
displayed the following error message: We couldn’t Authenticate your
Chromecast. If this happens then set the date ...
Update. Checked my Google Pixel 7 Pro for app updates on the Play Store.
Then, rebooted phone and I can now change audio settings and add speaker
