Two (2) of my Chromecast are not at the recommended firmware version
1.56.467165 , they are currently at 1.56.292998. I have tried everything
to force an update, reboot and factory reset to no resolution. Google
home version is 3.30.1.5 with no updat...
After reset and following instructions including setting date back to
Mar1st than adding the chromecast device, connection happened (yay),
chromecast was automatically updated and everything is working, thank
you so much to whomever posted this fix
