So I will be able to update the Chromecast 2nd generation by changing the date on my phone but then won't be able to cast from my phone after?

I was told you couldn't use the same phone to cast once you change the date? I only have one phone

Please tell us what you did to fix it? Because mine is still saying the same thing.... That they can't authenticate the Chromecast? Please help!
