My nest 3rd gen automatically updated about 1 week ago and now it’s
stuck in an update loop. After some research it seems to be a known
issue. People are having the same issue with the recent Nest 3rd gen
update.

I think it might be caused by the lasted nest thermostat software
update. The new update bricked my thermostat and now I am not able to
use it. It’s stuck in an update loop.
