Multi-stage heat pump compatibility ?

I have a 5-stage Bryant heat pump with a 3-stage indoor fan unit. From what I have read it looks like the latest Nest isn't yet up to this task. Is that correct, and if so then is there a product plan to support such high efficiency configurations?
