Shouldn't really make a difference but have you changed the batteries?Have you checked that there is still power going to the unit? Circuit hasn't tripped or if there is a fused plate anywhere that the fuse hasn't blown?

Have you tried to reset it? Try holding the button for 15 seconds.. it may help?
