Yes get Google on the phone go thru the process with them on the line
and when it doesn't work move the discussion on to replacement options
if they don't bring it up themselves.
Yes it seems like many of us here were not able to complete the simple
reset process. Some never get past the blinking yellow, some never get
past solid yellow.
