All I can recommend to people is go through the chat help and go through
the steps with the helpdesk and get a case. I just got an email about
sending mine unit back to google.
I went through the steps and got a case number. Had to dig out my
receipt from the google store, send a picture of the bottom of my unit
for the serial number and then I had to take a 15 second video of the
screen which I then had to edit to 7 second...
