I just learned that new devices (e.g., 2021 cameras, thermostats,
doorbells) only work with the Google Home app and NOT the Nest app. Does
this signal the end of the Nest app?
I have several devices running well in my iPhone nest app (cameras,
learning thermostat). I have added a new thermostat. It is visible in
the google home app, but it will not appear in the nest app.
Suggestions? Thank you.
Thank you. Yes, it seems that my new thermostat will not work with the
Nest app. How disappointing. I guess it is a bad sign for the future of
the Nest app.
