You'll have to re link it with your Google account to get the chime to
work if I remember rightly, if you're using a Google home/mini as the
chime like me.
I have exactly the same problem. I think the 24v AC internal power
system is goosed on mine, like yours it powers up on USB. I tested the
transformer and it's working fine, so I bought a new nest wired doorbell
and it works fine.
