I did receive an email from Google Home with a link to the Google store. When I added tje Nest 4 it took off $130. Woohoo!

I read you will still be able to control the thermostat manually but NO APP anymore. It will stop working......

I did the same thing. They told me 24 to 48 hours I should hear back. Fingers crossed!
