I tried dealing with nest support, I kept getting escalated through
different support teams and they all had me try various resets,
re-installs, etc. Funny it randomly started working for a couple faces,

Ya I am in the same boat. Only had 3 face detections since migrating,
door gets used multiple times a day and never detects a familiar face.
Doesn't seem like there is any solution for this issue yet.
