Chomecast built in, Cable TV audio is still playing when casting to TV

I have a Hisense 4k tv with built in chromecast. When I was watching Live TV, I tried to cast from my Oculus.The video came over but the audio from Live TV continued to play.How can I get the audio on Chromecast to over ride the audio from LiveTV ?
