your Google Pixel - Settings → Apps → Google Home → Notifications If
that doesn't work, you can try to check if your app and device is in

As a google nest owner too, it is a little frustrating. I also have that
problem, but I feel like the best solution is to just use Spotify from
your phone. Pretty sure both Spotify and google are on this but no
solution yet. Very sorry for the inconv...
It is a confirmed bug if you search it up online - it is from an update.
Maybe try clearing the cache for the google home app or check
notifications. If that does not work, then I don't know sorry.
