I think you'll find that there are scads of things the the new, advanced AI Gemini can't do. Google missed the mark with the release, IMHO

So many people are experiencing problems just as you describe. Just look at all the topics and complaints about Gemini. To date, Google has not officially addressed these problems, AFAIK. Good luck!
