Since buying the latest third gen doorbell my first gen nest has yet to give me that error again! Uuugh It's like it knew it was going to be replaced. Been too cold for me to change out so I still have the first gen doorbell out front and past month ...

You right must be a 1st gen wired doorbell because I bought a cover for it in 2019 on Amazon

And for Gen 2 wired doorbells once you transfer to Google Home you cannot transfer back to the Nest app

Just ordered a gen 3 from Amazon the beige one was $40 off at $140 plus added the 3 rd extended warranty for $23. Since nest doorbell only has a 1 year factory warranty. You saved me the time to remove my Gen 2 wired doorbell and hit the reset button...
