I read through the article and followed the steps to use the Google Home app on the phone. Selected the TV but then I had to apply the casting function on the phone to get it to work. Why should it take two steps? Never did on my LG phones.

I have a Sony Bravia 4K UR2 TV with built in Chromecast. Ver. 1.56.276477.Trying to cast phone to TV. Previous LG phones worked well. Only happening with phones. Our MS Surface works fine. Thanks.
