Just sharing an update that after 3+ weeks the MAC filter continues to work. No disconnects.

Giving the MAC filter a try. I noticed the thermostat reconnected after creating the filter, so that's a good sign. We'll see if this stays the case over the next week or so.

Same issue here. Frequent disconnect from Nest server, but wifi remains connected. Please post when you have a solution! Thanks,
