I just cut my losses and went with Alexa. I got echo dots to aux on to
my homemax speakers and a echo flex for my sub it sounds as good as
Google Home app that never worked well anyway..Google totally dropped
the ball and screwed their customers big ...

No. The problem is not being able to cast the phone audio to a speaker
group, whatever app you choose is irrelevant. This used to work
perfectly and was the reason I liked home and spent fair amount of money
on it.
