403 Error when trying to add radio service in Google Home App

Jaysus145

Android version: 14

Android Build: UQ1A.240205.004

Google Home App Version: 3.13.1.4

Device: Pixel 8 Pro

Description of issue: I am receiving a 403 Error in the Google Home app when trying to add a radio service.

Goal: Add SiriusXM radio service so that I can use voice commands to play the services on my Google Nest Speakers

Additional information: The error happens immediately after clicking Radio in the add services screen. Save for Podcasts (which also receives a 403 error) I am able to add all other services.

Please advise.

Hey, I just found this in Reddit and it worked

https://www.reddit.com/r/googlehome/comments/184rqpr/403_error_when_editting_a_routineautomation/kf9...

Go into "Works with Google", pick any "new" service, then once it loads the next page, back out

That was a successful workaround! Thank you. Hopefully Google can resolve the issue so that the workaround is not needed going forward.
