404 error when linking to Feit in Google Home app

I'm trying to add some Feit lightbulbs in the Google Home app. I have an iPhone 12 running iOS 17.3.1. I already have a Feit account (had it for years) with the lightbulbs set up and I'm able to control them with no problems from there.

In the Google Home app, I go to Devices, click +Add, then choose Works With Google Home. When I choose Feit it asks me to link my Feit account, but every time I click Link in the Google Home app I get a 404 error: "The requested URL was not found on this server. That's all we know."

This is really frustrating because everything has been linked through Google Home  and working just fine for years, but when I went to set up a second Home Mini in another room I realized everything was set up under an old email account I don't use anymore. I unlinked my Feit account from that Google account so I could set everything up under the correct Google account. But now I can't link these lights which was the whole reason I got a second Google Mini in the first place.  I've tried deleting the Google Home and Feit apps and reinstalling them. I've reset my router. I've tried everything I can think of. Anybody have any ideas?

Hi PMA23,

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s take some troubleshooting steps.

  • Set Chrome as your phone’s default browser.
  • Go to Third-party apps & services from your Google Account > Remove Feit’s access.
  • Force close and reopen the Google Home app > Link Feit app again.
  • If the issue persists, use a different setup device.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex
