Adding second user to app

I’m trying to connect to my husbands account but although I’ve accepted the invite the screen just shows the home picture and add account. When i tap on home, it just says no recent activity? Can anyone help please?

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.

 

Are you inviting a regular Account user? Did you receive any message when inviting your husband to your home? Make sure you're connected to the same network. Have you tried reinstalling the Google Home app from his phone? Check this article for more information.
