Hey there. I have a very crippled experience from Nest here. I keep getting asked to migrate my account to a Google account but then it errors out saying it doesn't support G suite accounts. Migrating to a vanilla Gmail account is not really an option here, that's the whole point of having my own domain on g suite (or workspace, whatever it's called this year). My Google home app partially works with the g suite account, but various stuff, mostly related to nest its not (like actually being able to use the camera in my nest hub max as a security cam).
I saw several posts here on this subject, with no helpful answer.
Is it possible to get someone that actually works for Google to answer when this support will be added ?

As far as I'm aware, Google has no plans to add support for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. The help centre page for this still has this disclaimer and has for years.
Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead.

I didn't actually got a response to:
"Is it possible to get someone that actually works for Google to answer when this support will be added ?"

or what would be the best way to make sure my request actually gets to someone at Google. I saw a couple of other threads on this subject that just die here with a link to some random document hidden on the website.
This is a serious limitation of the product and I would prefer to know that a PM or someone who is in charge of the product evolution is aware of this, and is a conscious decision to ignore us.

Hey there,
Google Workspace accounts are accounts set up by businesses or organizations to access different Google business productivity tools. At this time, you can’t use a Google Workspace account because the account data is managed by your organization. We recommend migrating your Nest Account to a personal Google Account. If you don’t have one, create a new Google Account.
Let us know if there’s anything else.

JT

And this is why I want my concern to reach someone from Google. This has been debated multiple times.
I am the admin of the organization. When I created my account, Google Workspace was called Google Apps for your domain, and it was advertised as also "host your family domain", which I do. My Google Workspace organization has 4 accounts, one family, there is no business involved. And this worked for years and years as a normal google account. Until Nest, and some Google Home stuff.
My setup is not a weird one, I personally know at least 10 other people that have their own domain using Google Workspace for their personal email business.
I have to repeat myself: what I am asking here is to make sure this request/feedback/call it whatever, reaches someone who can actually decide if this should be handled and it and doesn't just die in this forum.

Exactly.
Zero support & solution. Everything is connected to Google home including TV, washer & dryer etc. This requires a separate email? Security of your home requires a seperate email? A washer & dryer & tv is more sufficient to a business/property than security??That was to be the whole point is to keep everything in one place.
Also, disconnected chats & silence on several callbacks.
Just terrible with zero solutions!

Hello everyone,
We understand not being able to use your Google Workspace account to migrate isn't the best experience. Rest assured that we'll take note of it — we'll ensure that we'll learn from your experience as we continually improve our products and services. We highly suggest using a regular Google Account for you to maximize the potential of your devices.
Let us know if you have other questions or concerns as we'll be locking this thread if we don't hear back from you within the day.
Kind regards,
Alex

This is my regular Google Account. I used this for about 15 years. Google workspace when it was introduced was actually advertised as a solution to host your personal domain, it wasn't only for companies. And this is what I've been doing for this whole time. All my Google services are linked to this account, app purchases, subscriptions, etc.
What does it mean "we'll take a note of it" ? As i asked before, is this post reaching a product manager in any way ?

I am having the same issue. Got a new nest, trying to migrate, and have no heat. Really frustrated with Google Next. Going out to get a regular thermostat tomorrow so I can have heat.
