My Google Home app info disappeared—all of it—no home, no devices. I think I have no choice but to recreate a home and reset all of my Wi-Fi devices and network settings in the app again. Hopefully, that will do the trick.
The cause:
Earlier this evening, I encountered a security warning on YouTube while attempting a payment. This led me to the Google account settings page, where I thoroughly checked all the security settings. Despite my efforts, the YouTube error persisted. In an attempt to resolve it, I signed out of all devices listed in the account settings, except for my laptop.
A few moments later, I opened the Google Home app to change a reserved IP address. When I opened the app, no home information was available. No devices were listed, and none could be found when I tried to add one. I signed out and back in again (on the correct account), but that info is still gone.
I'm convinced that the root cause of this issue was signing out of the nest device in that device list. It's crucial for Google to enhance this process, either by allowing users to sign out and re-connect with the Google Home device, or by adding a layer of protection to the sign-out process that clearly communicates the potential consequences of signing out.
The view I'm referring to is at the Google account page -> security -> your devices (manage all devices). One of the devices I signed out of says it's a "Google Assistant-enabled device." There's also an unknown device section that lists "iOS account manager." The problem has to be tied to signing out of one of these two devices.

Hi there!
Thanks for posting over the community space, I'm sorry for any trouble that could be caused for this issue.
This might seem simple, but sometimes a quick restart can clear up glitches. Turn off your phone and completely close the Google Home app (swipe it away from the app switcher). Then, power on your phone and reopen the Google Home app.
Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account on your phone and within the Google Home app itself. Sometimes switching accounts can cause confusion.
Last Resort:
This is the most time-consuming option, but it guarantees a fresh start. This involves resetting your smart home devices to factory settings and then re-adding them to the Google Home app.
