Bring back Equalizer in Google Home for JBL Link speakers PLEASE!

I have two JBL Link Portable "smart speakers" and the bass is super loud, to the point that I cannot turn the volume up past 60% or the bass becomes very distorted and sounds like there soon will be damage done to the speaker.

I understand that the equalizer function for these speakers was removed from the Google Home app several years ago and that countless people have pleaded to Google to get it back to no avail. 

But I implore you to reconsider and make the EQ available again for the JBL Link devices.

Please reconsider adding the equalizer function back to the Google Home app for JBL Link speakers to manage the overwhelming bass. Many users, including myself, would greatly appreciate it.
