Camera offline since transferred to Google Home

I've searched the posts to see if I can find my problem, but I can't find it anywhere. I have a Google Doorbell and two Google Cams. They're all wired (power connected). The lights on all three devices are green. However, I can't see live video through the Google Home app. This has been happening since I transferred the doorbell from Nest to Home. The devices seem to be working fine, as I receive motion notifications. I can also watch recorded clips. However, none of them show live video anymore. Google Home says the camera is offline and displays a black screen. The devices are listed and connected on my router, so everything seems fine regarding connectivity. Even when someone rings the doorbell, the lights on the doorbell turn on correctly. It just doesn't transmit the signal to my speaker that someone has rung the doorbell. It's been like this for a while now; I just want to be able to see live video again. What can I do? This is very annoying.

Same issue here. Difference is I’ve used the Google Home app since we moved in (my wife used the Nest app) and everything worked perfectly. The issue only started once I migrated the cameras to the GH app. They showed offline immediately after migrating but I went through and hard reset everything and they worked for a couple days, but now they’re all showing offline again. The newer cameras I bought to supplement (and registered directly within the GH app) are all working fine. This is a Google problem but of course they are going to ask questions to imply it has something to do with setup or WiFi signal.

Still no resolution. I wonder when they are

going to fix this. It has been a month now.

Also no comminucation whatsoever. Does Google read this topics?

There won't be any support. This all part of Googles planned obsolescence program. You will find this on anything Google provides or has their hands in. Why do you think your phone/tablets suddenly stop working.

There are actually people who believe that Google provides secure system equipment. Nothing that phones home and fails if YOUR internet connection is down is secure. Get a clue Google is NOT your friend.

The first step is to find non-google gear that does not require phone home (forces you to use their server)

   Its all about the Money.

Nest.

A new router is not the solution.

I agree with @thomie . I have a Nest Wifi modem, and the 2.4GHz to 5GHz connection is automatically switched by the modem to best suit each device; there's no way to turn one off and replace the other. I've had this same modem for years, and the problem is with the Google Home app. I didn't have this error with the Nest app in 4 years.

Agreed.  I tried connecting to my 2.4 GHz connection and had the same behavior as the 5GHz.  My camera started behaving poorly right after the migration to Google Home.

The latest funny behavior is that I still get notifications for movement but I cannot get a live feed, so I cannot see what is going on!
