Can not reset password as I don't have the phone # registered with nest

I have change my cell number and I can not reset my nest account passwords. It keeps wanting to send a CODE to my old phone number which I no longer have. I get an email asking me to reset password but once I do that it wants to send a verification to my old phone number. I have tried all the "customer" support numbers but none of them work.

 

HELP!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues resetting your Nest account password. While we don't support resetting your account password, we can point you in the right direction. Our friends at the Google Account Help Community are the perfect folks to help you with it.

 

You can also contact the phone provider’s support for help regaining access to the phone number. If you can’t regain access to your phone number after contacting their support, you’ll have to factory reset your Nest products and then add them to a new account.

 

In case you have issues adding a Nest product to a new account, refer to the troubleshooting steps in the Google Nest help center.
