A bit of backstory: I have a Google G Suite account from my own company that went defunct in 2013,  I can't change it back to a normal Google account (as Google doesn't allow that) and I have too many purchases in it to abandon for a new account.

Today I tried to edit my routines in the Google Home app and it popped up a new screen asking if I have a Nest account and saying that I should migrate it over to Google.    I do NOT have a Nest account,  so I hit 'No'.

It then brings up a screen about 'Supplemental Nest terms'  with two options 'Cancel' or 'I agree'.    If I choose 'I agree' I got a little toast message saying "Sorry, G Suite accounts can't be used for migration" .   I'm not trying to migrate a Nest account as I don't have one to begin with.    If I choose 'Cancel' it takes me back to the 'Do you have a Nest Account?' screen.

As a result of this,  its now impossible for me to access routines,  and I worry there may be other features that I can't access as a result of this as well.

Anybody know of a way around this issue?

Hey there Eric,

I was doing some digging and looking at how to link a G Suite account to Google Home, and I did find that certain Google Home features are not available for G Suite accounts. I was also trying to see if there was a viable workaround, but sadly I couldn't find a viable alternative. The only real way to access all the functionality of the Google Home app is to use a personal Gmail account.

I'm really sorry I couldn't give you a real workaround, I know it's disappointing to say the least. If you had any more questions or concerns, I'd be happy to help out where I can.

Best regards,

Jeran
