I migrated my Nest app to Google and tried to share access to my thermostat and protect devices with a family member. To do that, I was required to download Google Home and connect the devices there. I signed into Google Home with the same email account as the one I use for Nest, and when I try to link the accounts, I get a screen to sign into Nest using a user name and password. My old user name and password no longer work thanks to migration to Google, and there is no option to use Google as my login. I spent an hour on the phone with a Google rep and finally gave up. Help please!

It does not make sense that Google Nest Support failed to resolve this.
Below is the Google Nest Help link when you're having migration issues. Did they have you uninstall and re-install the Google Nest app and see if it then gave you the "Sign in with Google" option? You could also go to home.nest.com and see if the website gives you a "Sign in with Google" option.
The other possibility is that there are processing delays on Google Nest's servers and this will resolve itself in a few hours. Yesterday another user made changes to their Settings in the Google Home app and it too hours before they took effect.
