Can’t test mesh

A1exJH

I have two pairs of Google Nest The mesh system working together, so two routers and two pointers. I set the system up 6 months ago and had no problems with strong Wi-Fi connection in every room in the house.

For the last two months I’ve had no connectivity in a couple of rooms as the pointers don’t seem to be meshing with the router and I can’t carry out a mesh test. I’ve tried the process mentioned on other threads but I cant Toggle Nest WiFi cloud services off, it just seems to toggle straight back on. Any ideas?

Hey, A1exJH.
Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to check in to see if you were still having this issue and to see if you have done any additional troubleshooting so far. If you still need help, let me know and I'll be happy to work on this with you.
Thanks.

Hi Jeff.

yes I’ve tried all of the trouble shooting expect resetting all of the network which seems a bit drastic. Any other ideas, I’ve read others are having similar issues but then had more issues when they did a total reset.

any ideas thoughts welcome.

thanks

Hi, A1exJH.

I'm sorry that the factory reset process is so tedious, but it looks as if you're at that point to try and get this resolved. I realize it takes some time to set everything up once again. One tip I can give you on the reset process is to have all your devices together in the same room and then move them later to where they'll be used after setup.
If you run through the factory reset process and still have issues, please let me know.

Thanks.
