Can't unlink from account (mi home). Ghost devices

I have 15 Xiaomi devices in Google home app that appear offline.

I cannot unlink them from mi home in the Google home app, as the option to unlink doesn't show up (mi home service appears as a service which is not connected yet).

If I try to set up the mi home service, it fails when trying to add the devices (''unable to put devices to your home'').

I uninstalled google home, cleared cache, deleted the home, the ghost devices still appear. 

I tried to move them to a secondary home to make them disappear from my home, it doesn't work either.

I'm stuck with a frustrating issue and can't control my devices.
