Hello,
I have several Cync (by GE) devices including light, fan switches and a thermostat. All of these show up fine in the Cync app on phone. They also all show up within the Google Home app. However, the Thermostat constantly shows as being "Offline" in my Google Home app despite being perfectly connected and useable within the Cync app. It requires a factory reset each and every time to get it to reconnect to my Google Home app for use in routines or voice commands. According to numerous Amazon reviews from others who have purchased this device this is a known issue. Please can someone advise on if there is anything that can be done to rectify this issue?
Thanks

Hi gg7aph,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.
I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you, let me help you out. A few things: When you control your thermostat via voice command, what is the exact message that you are getting from your Google assistant? What is the make and model of the phone that you are using for your Google Home app? Try using another phone and see if it will make a difference.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

I have no clue why or how but it suddenly started working as it should. There was no known updates to either Google Home or the Cync app. But it's working....
