Cannot add Family Member - Very Frustrating

We have 2 homes - one created by my wife and the second vacation home added on by me (husband).  Both have Nest doorbells, thermostats, and cameras - thermostats and doorbell set up under Nest App and cameras set up by home app.   She is a manager in the family (structure in home app).  She invited me to the original home, all is fine.  I invited her to the 2nd home - she cannot accept the invitation.  I am the only one that can see all the devices in the Nest app and the home app. 

Additionally, I cannot see other smart devices or the room structure (lights etc) in the original home she created under google home.

It's very easy to add devices using either Nest or Home - but giving family members access is a complete nightmare.
