Cant live govee to google home

I have linked my govee account to my google account and nothing happens. I have checked the works with google section and it does not appear. None of my lights appear. I have already tried to reset both apps and deleted both apps and it does not work. 
when i link it, it says linked successfully but nothing happens. Please help!

Have they been moved to a Home and Room? 

If not, you'll see them listed at the bottom of the Device page under 'Linked to you'.

when you click link the "works with google" section. It doesnt even show up as linked. Even though Ive linked it multiple times and it said it was successful

I understand you're having trouble getting your Govee lights to show up in the Google Home app, even though you receive the message that says the account linked successfully. To better assist you, I’d like to confirm the following information:

• Have you tried linking your Govee account using a different mobile device such as another phone or a tablet?
• Are you able to see and control your Govee lights directly within the Govee app itself?
• Are you using an Android or iOS mobile device?

In the meantime, I’d suggest the following:

• Operating system update: Make sure your phone's operating system is fully updated.

• Reboot your router: Completely unplug your Wi-Fi router for at least one minute, then plug it back in. Wait for your network to be fully restored.
• Try syncing again: After your router is back online, try the voice command by saying, "Hey Google, sync my devices." For more information, refer to this article: Connect third-party smart home devices in the Google Home app.
• Re-link the account: Now that your phone and router are fresh, please attempt to link your Govee account one more time through the Google Home app.

I can control them from the govee app. I am using IOS. i have rebooted everything and it still doesnt work
