Control Problems re Phillips Hue Lights

I used to use LIFX lights and could control colors and other features from the Home app. I've switched to Phillips Hue and connected the account to the Home app. But all I can do is turn then on and off. I cannot control colors or brightness. Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? Have you tried using voice commands? What steps have you taken so far? You can try to reinstall the Google Home app and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone will also help us isolate this.
