Deleting thermostat from account

I have moved house and left my thermostat device at the old house. I have now installed a new thermostat a the new house. I am unable to delete the old house from my account. Can you please help me in pointing out how to do this.  I have tried through setup, account, manage account but there is no option there to delete any nest account.

Hello Pvasudev, 

I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you. Let me help you out. If you already migrated your account to Google, you can only delete a home using the Google Home app. 

Here are the steps on how to delete a home: 

1. Open the Google Home app. Google Home app.
2. If you have more than one home, tap Favorites. At the top, tap the down arrow to select the home you want to edit. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll to the bottom  then select Delete this home.
5. Tap Delete home to confirm.
